Practice 02
The specialists who keep data trustworthy and make it useful — database administrators and architects, data and ETL engineers, BI developers and data platform engineers. aCubeMed recruits and vets them, then places them from an established network as single hires or full project teams.
Overview
This practice covers the roles that design, run and report on your data estate — relational databases, warehouses and lakehouses, the pipelines that feed them and the dashboards that make them count.
We staff it as individual placements or full project teams, on contract, contract-to-hire or a defined project. Every candidate is screened on real database and platform work before you meet them. A production DBA is not the same as a development DBA — we verify the data volumes, platforms and business criticality a candidate has actually run before we submit them. Right now aCubeMed has an open SQL Database Architect role — see it on Careers
Roles we place
SQL Server and PostgreSQL DBAs who own performance, backups, high availability and security. We screen for tuning judgment and recovery experience, not just uptime on a résumé.
Architects who model schemas, plan partitioning and set the standards a growing estate needs. We verify they have designed for scale, not just maintained what someone else built.
Engineers who build reliable pipelines and models with SQL, Python and Spark. We assess candidates on data they have actually moved at volume and the quality checks they put around it.
Power BI developers who turn raw tables into dashboards the business trusts. We screen for data modeling and DAX depth, not just chart-building.
Developers who build and maintain the integration jobs that keep systems in sync. We confirm real experience with SSIS and modern ELT, and the discipline to make pipelines observable.
Engineers who run managed data platforms on Azure SQL and AWS RDS — provisioning, scaling, cost and security. We verify hands-on cloud database operations, not just theory.

How we staff it
Share the role, the stack and the start date. One focused conversation is usually all we need to understand what "a good fit" means for this seat.
We shortlist vetted specialists who fit the technical requirements and the team — drawing on an established network, so you are not waiting on a search that starts from zero.
You meet a tight shortlist worth your time. We manage scheduling, references, offer logistics and onboarding so the process keeps moving.
